Step 1: Enter Company Information
To install your company for direct deposit in QuickBooks, verify your company’s data including the legal name, address, EIN, & industry. Update the owner’s information if needed.
Step 2: Enter Bank Information
Next, enter your business’s bank facts. choose the bank account you want to pay employees from. Indicate whether it’s a checking or financial savings account and enter the legal name, routing number, and account number related to that bank account. Finally, agree with the terms and conditions at the bottom of the display.
Step 3: Set safety Limits
As an introduced security measure, QuickBooks will now make you enter 3 safety tests. Use the drop-down menus and choose the maximum accurate options in your business.
Step 4: Set off Direct Deposit
To confirm your bank account, QuickBooks will charge you two small verification amounts. After you see these costs for your banking records, you may officially activate your direct deposit.

Step 5: Verify Direct Deposit
When you see the 2 verification cost on your bank records, go to employee>My Payroll service>Activate Direct Deposit. Enter the two amounts and click on “Next” to finish verifying your bank account.
Step 6: Enter employees Direct Deposit information
Now that your company is set up the direct deposit, You’ve added the records of the employees who have authorized direct deposit. To do that visit the employees>employees center and select the employees whom you wish to set up with the direct deposit. Once you may see the employees’ facts, go to “Payroll information” & select “Direct Deposit.”
Click the “Use Direct Deposit for this employee” box and enter the following records: Bank name, account number, account type, and routing number. You can also choose whether to direct deposit the entire amount or split the amount. Click “ok” when done, after which click “OK” on the employee display screen to make sure the information has been saved correctly.
Step 7: Run Payroll
Now you’re ready to run payroll the usage of direct deposit! Follow the instructions from earlier to run payroll. When you get to the final screen, click “send Payroll To Intuit” to pay your employees through direct deposit.
Step 8: Enter Direct Deposit Pin
